The City Reliquary museum in Williamsburg, Brooklyn asked us for a new interactive, communicative design for their small space. We decided to hack a old-school phone to create an interactive audio experience to unveil the stories behind each objects from the curator Nik Sokol, resident geologist and a tunnel engineer on the New York City 2nd avenue subway line to gather unique stories about the “Geology of NY” case.
This installation enables visitors to access audio contents by actually "dial" a number and "call" the curator for an engaging and immersive audio experience.
